About the Author

Ton Pascal is a Canadian born in Brazil (Minas Gerais), of German and Italian origin. This original cultural hybrid distinctly influenced his art and work. As a young student in Toronto, Ton was interested in painting, drawing, and photography and was already working as a costume designer for films and television. He had barely graduated when he designed and produced his own line of high-end loungewear that sold in Canada and the USA to prestigious stores like Saks 5th Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Macy's N.Y., and Bergdorf Goodman.

In the 80's Ton began to practice self-taught meditation and relaxation. This subject became a lifetime love affair through which he has implemented new techniques that have helped him cope and conquer new challenges.

In 1989 he moved to Paris and decided to create his own line of 'bijoux'. His first 'haute couture' costume jewelry collection was an immediate success in France, America and Japan. Very soon after Ton was creating jewelry for the stores and fashion shows of big-name designers like Philippe Venet, Louis Feraud, Emanuel Ungaro, Hubert de Givenchy, Dior, Thierry Mugler, and Christian Lacroix.

Ton Pascal’s creations have their own unmistakable style, classic and modern at the same time, rich and easy where past memories and future aspirations entwine, where the refined and the primitive merge, and each piece, each set receives the contradictory gift of an unusual harmony.

Since 2005 Ton Pascal has returned to Toronto. Immediately after his arrival he launched three new jewelry collections on The Shopping Channel Network.

Now Ton has decided to attempt another challenge. He believes that the times we are facing in our world require a more spiritual approach to our everyday lives. This is why he felt compelled to share this simple manual on how to dream a better you.
